A look inside our HIA award-winning display home: The Bentley 32

We are thrilled to announce that our Bentley 32 display home has been recognised at the HIA Western Victoria Regional Housing Awards, winning the prestigious title for Display Home over $600,000.

Located in the heart of Sanctuary Springs, Leopold, the Bentley 32 exemplifies contemporary living, blending luxury with thoughtful design. Centred around a beautifully lit outdoor space, the home meets Gold Liveability standards and proudly holds a 7.2-star energy rating. This recognition reflects our team's hard work and dedication, and we sincerely thank the Housing Industry Association (HIA) for this esteemed honour.

What makes the HIA Award so special?

The HIA is the voice of Australia's residential building industry, setting the benchmark for excellence in home construction and design. The Display Home over $600,000 category celebrates homes that are open to the public, designed for modern living, and reproducible without compromising on quality.

Homes are judged on key criteria such as craftsmanship, sustainability, energy efficiency, design innovation, and visual appeal to win this coveted award. It's not just about aesthetics—judges also look for homes that offer both exceptional functionality and modern market appeal.

The Bentley 32 stood out by delivering all of this, making it a home that perfectly balances luxury and livability.

What made The Bentley 32 display home stand out

Our Bentley 32 home wowed the judges with its modern design, thoughtful layout, and a strong focus on sustainability.

We have incorporated passive house elements within our newest display home, including:

  • Use of under-slab insulation and Proclima external wrap, expertly sealed around all windows and wall penetrations, and securely attached to the slab using Proclima Liquid Adhesive. This assists with reducing any drafts, vermin and moisture entering the home.

  • California Junctions within the framework allow insulation to be placed into all external wall areas, minimising thermal bridging and mould build-up whilst adding to the home's overall R-value (thermal resistance).

  • Double-glazed windows and doors allow solar radiation to naturally heat the home during winter while preventing excessive solar gain in summer, boosting energy efficiency year-round.

Some of the standout features that contributed to our win include:

  • The use of sustainable materials like Weathertex cladding and Meganite benchtops showcases eco-friendly craftsmanship.

  • Luxe finishes such as Haymes Artisan Collection paint, ABI brushed nickel tapware, and Bosch appliances combine style with functionality.

  • A beautiful alfresco area that merges indoor and outdoor living seamlessly.

  • Thoughtful design choices, including curved walls and a flowing layout, that deliver both elegance and comfort.

  • Fully electric design, featuring an induction cooktop, electric heat pump (hot water service), ducted electric heating and cooling and solar system with a car charger.

The Bentley 32 is the perfect fusion of sustainability, luxury, and practical design, and we're proud to share this recognition with our community!
