Our Bentley 32 Display Home is Open!

display home Live Green Homes

Welcome to the Bentley 32! A showcase of contemporary living where every detail has been carefully considered. In our brand-new display home, we've seamlessly combined liveability and luxury, centred around a captivating central outdoor space that bathes the home in natural light. Its high ceilings and signature curved walls create a feeling of relaxed luxe.

This home is a pinnacle of style and is built to Gold Liveability standards and proudly boasts a 7.2-star energy rating. The home's thoughtful orientation, with a northerly aspect and expansive doors and windows, beckons you into an open-plan living space that feels warm and inviting. As you explore further, you'll notice an open pergola adorned with a carefully chosen deciduous vine, thoughtfully providing cool shade in the summer and welcoming warmth during the winter months.

Passive Home Features

We have incorporated passive house elements within our newest display home. These features include under-slab insulation and the Proclima external wrap, meticulously sealed around all windows and wall penetrations, firmly attached to the slab using Proclima Liquid Adhesive. This assists with reducing any drafts, vermin and moisture entering the home. We have also used California Junctions within the framework, which allows insulation to be placed into all areas of the external wall, minimising thermal bridging and mould build-up whilst adding to the home's overall R-value (thermal resistance). All the above techniques, along with double glazing to windows and doors, add to the performance and longevity of the home.

We have made a conscious effort to use as many sustainable materials and products as possible within the home, to mention a couple of these:

  •  Weathertex Wall Panels (exterior cladding) is an Australian-owned manufacturer of sustainable timber weatherboards and wall panels. Weathertex is 100% natural, made from 97% hardwood and 3% paraffin wax.

  •  Meganite Acrylic Solid Surfaces for all benchtops is a silica-free, durable, hygienic product with AcryMed protection, eliminating 99.9% of bacteria.

The Bentley 32 is fully electric, featuring an induction cooktop, electric heat pump (hot water service), ducted electric heating and cooling and solar system with a car charger. We also have quality Stegbar double-glazed windows and doors throughout.

Products and Finishes

We wanted to mention some of the products we have used throughout the display. The following are just a few, and our team will be able to provide a more extensive list when you visit our display home.

We have used special effects Haymes paint on the cladding to the Façade to create a rust effect. The Haymes Artisan Collection' Real Iron' paint is a water-based paint that contains real iron flakes to create a beautiful rust appearance. The application of the oxidising patina replicates metal being weathered by nature.

The tapware throughout the home is from ABI in a Brushed Nickel finish, which is part of our standard range. ABI is an Australian-owned company that produces quality tapware in coloured finishes. They have developed three processes to create a range of finishes across their entire product range that maintain their brilliant finish for as long as possible and are backed with a 25-year warranty

We have used Laminex products throughout the home and incorporated a few premium finishes to showcase some of their features. The kitchen cabinetry in the Bentley 32 has the beautiful Black Absolute Matte finish which is an intriguingly tactile and fingerprint-resistant finish. This is particularly useful when selecting dark colours.

The stunning kitchen tiles bring in warmth and earthy tones and are made using traditional and ancient techniques. These clay tiles are handmade in Spain from Tiles of Ezra. We have gone with large porcelain tiles throughout the bathroom and ensuite to provide a luxe feel and added a pop of colour with the gorgeous feature tile in the showers. They are supplied by GT&B, a local family-owned and operated business providing a large selection of tiles and a beautiful showroom.

The Bentley 32 is a fully electric home, so we have incorporated the induction cooktop, built-in rangehood, 60cm wall oven, and convection microwave for the avid cook. Quality Bosch appliances form part of our standard inclusions, although we have showcased some upgraded options in the display.

The Timber Laminate feature to the Island Bench and cabinetry in the bathroom and ensuite have a chalk finish, which is a low gloss, tactile finish with the look and feel of a raw veneer. We have chosen a warm-based woodgrain to compliment our warm, earthy tones.

We have used Porta Contours (Timber Lining Boards) as a feature in the master bedroom and the sales office (garage). Porta is an Australian-owned and operated company that has been manufacturing for over 70 years. Porta is committed to sourcing timber from sustainable and environmentally responsible resources. Porta holds a Chain of Custody under internationally recognised and accredited organisations. They offer a range of products and profiles in a range of timbers, including Tasmanian Oak, Engineered American Oak, Clear Pine and Pre Primed Pine.

Garage/Sales Office - Porta Timber Linings - Riverine 78x21mm LINA7821TOSL (Tasmanian Oak)

The Bentley 32 flooring is supplied and installed by locally owned and operated Bellarine Flooring. We have opted for a hard-wearing hybrid floor in the main living and hallways, which is 100% waterproof, easy to clean, scratch-resistant and pet-friendly. The warm timber works well with the earthy tones we have used throughout the home and is also part of our standard range. The carpet is a solution-dyed nylon that is also hard-wearing and beautiful underfoot. The solution-dyed nylon has superior stain resistance, exceptional fade resistance and tremendous durability.

Design Features and Styling

The curved walls to the living area add a design element and allow you to flow through this space comfortably. We have carried the curves through to the cabinetry in the bathroom and ensuite and many other details, such as the mirrors, internal cladding, and furniture.

The spacious kitchen provides the perfect space for entertaining family and friends, with ample storage and a large walk-in pantry hidden behind. Located towards the front of the home, the private master suite features a generous walk-in robe and a double vanity in the ensuite. Three bedrooms are located to the back of the house, with a rumpus room separate from the main living. The home also features a study, powder room and spacious laundry.

We wanted the home to be warm and inviting, using earthy tones in the external paint colours and brickwork and then carried these into the internal selections. Throughout the home, we have used warmer tones in the furniture and soft furnishings, combining them with warm white walls and pops of colour. The black cabinetry in the kitchen grounds this space, adding a contemporary feel and connecting with the external colour palette.
